Express Horseshoeing School

I am now offering Trimming Lessons for those who wish to learn how to take care of their own horses.

You will learn how to perform a basic trim. Correct Balance and basic hoof care.

The class is 1 day and will approximately be 6 hrs. I will come to you and teach you on 2-4 of your horses. After the class you should be capable of performing a basic trim for your horses.

What you will need for class: nippers, hoof knife, hoof pick and rasp. Hoof stand, shoeing apron, & gloves optional. I can teach the class using my tools though you will need these basic tools eventually to do your own horses.

Tuition is $1000 and may be split by up to 10 students.

This is an excellent class for those wishing to reduce their equine expenditures, by trimming their own horses. This class is not intended for those wishing to learn the farrier trade and perform these services for others. I will start that school in the near future. This class is intended to be covenient for the horse owner by me instructing you at your location.

The average cost to have a farrier trim 4 horses for 1 yr is $ 800. That is 8 trims per yr @ $25 per horse. This over the next 10 yrs would equal $8,000. The cost of this school is very low compared to the great savings you will experience over the next few years.
